Fleece
Fleece is an English term and means something like fluffy, which describes the material very aptly. Fleece is not a woven fabric, but a knitted fabric. Fleece has a roughened, cozy surface. Fleece fabrics are easy to care for, dry very quickly and are largely crease-resistant. They are soft, warm fabrics that are often used for clothing such as sweaters, jackets, blankets and accessories. They are available in single-colored (plain) versions that are simple and versatile. There are also patterned or printed fleece fabrics, which feature patterns, motifs or prints to create visually interesting accents and vary the style. Fleece fabrics are often made of polyester, which is known for its thermal insulation, ease of care and durability. There are also blends in which polyester is combined with cotton, viscose or other fibres to increase comfort, improve breathability or optimize care properties. Such blends ensure that the fabric is pleasant to the touch and lasts longer.
