Merino knit is a classic fabric made from 100% natural fibers (merino wool, virgin wool). Merino sheep wool is characterized by fibers that are half as thick as those of normal virgin wool. It is particularly soft, light, elastic, and highly crimped, making the wool feel super comfortable against the skin. It is also characterized by its high heat retention capacity, while at the same time being breathable so you don't sweat underneath it. The knit fabric, which comes from Italy, is particularly supple thanks to its fine weave and is extremely comfortable to wear. Merino knit is also crease-resistant, does not build up static electricity and is biodegradable. All our merino fabrics are mulesing-free!
Merino knit is versatile and can be used to make great knitwear such as sweaters, dresses, and cardigans.
